Officials from ruling party visit Syunik province, focus on local governance reforms and budgetary funds – “Hraparak” reports

The “Hraparak” newspaper has reported that a group of officials from the ruling Civil Contract party, led by Vahé Ghazaryan, recently visited Syunik province for a three-day trip. During their visit, the members of the governmental committee on territorial administration met with local authorities to discuss local governance reforms and the proper utilization of budgetary funds. Additionally, the officials paid visits to families who were displaced from Lachin due to the war and also visited the ZPMK memorial. However, it is worth mentioning that the visit did not involve any working activities involving interactions with the local residents of Syunik. Nonetheless, regional officials occasionally share photos of their meetings with voters. This visit was carried out as part of the “Mission of the Investigative Committee of Armenia for the Promotion of Efficiency and Integrity in Local Self-Government and the Fight against Corruption” program. Syunik is the first province to be visited, and it is expected that other provinces will also receive similar visits in the future. Moreover, the committee member and renowned artist David Danielyan, famous for his woodcarving work with Qavor-Sanikakan connections, accompanied the group during their three-day visit to Syunik.
