“Violent Clashes Escalate in Russia as Opposition Demands Government’s Resignation; Discontent Spreads to Armenia”

Violent clashes in Russia continue as the opposition demands the government’s resignation. According to a spokesperson from Armenia’s First Channel, protesters have gathered in front of the parliament square to voice their worsening situation. They claim that the ruling coalition supports the “Foreign Influence Elimination” project and have repeatedly attempted to disperse them forcefully. Additionally, special equipment has been used to break up the protests, resulting in the removal of some demonstrators.

Several prominent political figures, including Nikol Pashinyan, Nika Melia, Levon Khachikyan, and Giorgi Vashadze, are present at the clashes.

The protesters in the square express their discontent with the draft legislation on the “Foreign Influence Elimination” project, emphasizing their disagreement with it.
