“Ministry of Education Launches Innovative Program to Empower Displaced Residents of Artsakh”

The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports of the Republic of Armenia, in partnership with the “Teryan Cultural Center,” has launched a program called “Kritic, Kritoghin,” as reported by NEWS.am. The program was honored with the national award in the “Non-material Cultural Heritage Preservation Program” category.

The main objective of this initiative is to offer assistance to displaced residents of Artsakh from the Republic of Armenia, by equipping them with vocational skills and knowledge. Additionally, the program aims to create opportunities for their growth in creative, educational, and employment aspects. Monthly classes on Armenian traditional arts and crafts such as woodcarving, pottery, and embroidery will be organized as part of the program, which will contribute to the preservation, transmission, and promotion of non-material cultural values. The educational process will incorporate both theoretical and practical approaches.

As a result, participants will obtain new skills and knowledge, allowing them to sell their own products and extend ongoing support to fellow Artsakh residents. This will be achieved through establishing collaborations and providing continuous assistance.
