“Delimitation and Demarcation of Armenian-Azerbaijani Border Expected to Face Lengthy Delays, Warns Armenian MP”

The process of delimitation and demarcation of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border may take longer than anticipated, according to Tigran Abrahamyan, a member of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia. During a press conference on April 15th, Abrahamyan made a significant public statement, revealing the potential challenges ahead. He highlighted that Armenia’s authorities have taken steps to legally enable Azerbaijan to display constructive aggression towards Armenia. Abrahamyan explained that demarcation involves negotiations based on legal grounds and maps, while delimitation requires actual work and may also involve acts of aggression. Additionally, Abrahamyan expressed concerns over the government’s decision to go to war during the peak agricultural season, in order to avoid any setbacks in the demarcation process.
