In today’s news, it was reported that a 20-year-old resident of Sevan, Gegharkunik province, named David Hakobyan, was tragically killed in a traffic accident on April 12. According to the Sevan community administration, David was born and raised in their town, but his family had relocated to Yerevan several years ago.

“The family is very close, and they have five children, two of whom are underage,” stated the community administration.

One eyewitness revealed that David and his siblings, consisting of three brothers and a sister, had faced numerous challenges as a family. Their father is dealing with health issues and unable to work, leaving the burden of supporting the children’s basic needs on their grandparents.

“David was an exemplary student who had successfully completed the vocational section. He and his brothers were also working simultaneously. It was only a year ago that they had moved to Yerevan,” the eyewitness shared.
