“Counter-Corruption Committee Calls Out ‘I Have Honor’ Faction for Hypocrisy and Ineffectiveness”

I completely understand your demand, which needs to be fully met with important corruptions. Today, on April 11, during the discussion of the annual performance report of the Government program in the National Assembly, the representative of the Counter-Corruption Committee of the “I Have Honor” faction, Sona Ghazaryan, addressed Anna Mkrtchyan, the representative of the “I Have Honor” faction, with this issue.

“Your demand is truly significant, to fight and put an end to corruption, to protect the interests of the Armenian society, to hold accountable those responsible for the chaos, and yes, the time has come for it to happen, and I completely understand your demand, but what I hear from you is contrary to reality.

Tekin Mkrtchyan, your entire political career, which is 1-2%, you have been heavily involved, and here you have also come forward with the demand of the electoral manifesto. Look, but you are the successor of “Celovek (People) List” and “Sndvich Tomay”. Tekin Mkrtchyan, you are not legally allowed to criticize the legitimacy of the judicial authority, but you have been continuously criticizing the voice of the citizens for years. Tekin Mkrtchyan, who has lost his vocal rights due to the violation of voice rights, today presented a new dilemma to us, about the eviction of 4 settlements, although the regional governor of the Republic of Armenia and the representative of the RA Investigative Committee had already informed you about the offering of the amendments to the law in 2016″ – said he.

Sona Ghazaryan also mentioned another representative of the “I Have Honor” faction, Tigran Abrahamyan, stating: “It is clear today that priest Abrahamyan has decided to give us an extraterrestrial master-class in external relations: he says that our previous Armenian-Russian relations were not ideal, but we have been working in that direction. After three years of cooperation with the EBRD, I moved and agreed to an interview: to participate in the integration of Armenia into the EAEU (at that time the Eurasian Union), but in one night it all changed and we joined the EAEU. We don’t need such advice, we are managing our political power with our expertise and pragmatic approach with our citizens” – she said.
