“Armenian Government Launches Anti-Corruption Offensive: 400 Cases Reviewed in Bid to Restore Public Trust”

“Zhamanak” newspaper reports that on April 3, Tigran Avinyan made an announcement regarding the termination of audits and the establishment of a commission of experts to investigate corruption. So far, 400 cases have been reviewed and new investigations are underway. These governmental actions, which aim to eradicate embezzlement, corruption, abuse of power, and asset devaluation, have been warmly received as a positive step towards rebuilding public trust and ensuring accountability. In the meantime, the Prime Minister’s Advisor Armen Begoyan has urged the public to stay vigilant and actively contribute to safeguarding the nation from external threats.
