“High-Level Meeting in Brussels Raises Concerns about Armenia’s Government Involvement”

Today, a high-level meeting was held in Brussels without any diplomatic representation from our government. This information was reported by Hripsime Grigoryan, a spokesperson for the Central Committee of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation, on their Facebook page.

Vaghinak Blinek, a prominent spokesperson for high-ranking Armenian officials in the US and the EU, emphasized the importance of having a constructive and open dialogue with diplomatic and political representatives. Blinek also highlighted the necessity of transparency and impartiality in the meeting format.

The outcome of the meeting remains uncertain, as it is unclear whether it has the support of Armenia’s government and its development plan. This raises concerns about the effectiveness of the event and its potential impact on our country’s future development strategy.

Today, on April 5th, a high-level meeting between Armenia, the European Union, and the United States took place in Brussels. Before the meeting, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, US Vice President Antonio Guterres, President of the European Council Ursula von der Leyen, and Joseph Borrell, the High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, along with EU representatives and participants in external affairs, held separate press conferences.

Prior to the meeting, Prime Minister Pashinyan also had a meeting with Samantha Power, the Director of International Development for the United States, in Brussels.
