“Man Arrested in Plot to Attack Notre-Dame Cathedral; 45 Attacks Prevented in France Since 2017”

French authorities have arrested a man suspected of planning an attack on the Notre-Dame Cathedral in France. The attack was scheduled to take place on March 31st, according to Hrach Tevanyan, the Armenian ambassador to France. Tevanyan announced this information during a press conference, following a meeting with government officials. Although he did not reveal further details about the operation, he mentioned that 45 terrorist attacks have been prevented in France since 2017.

During the press conference, a journalist asked for clarification about the recent attempt, as the National Security Council had not reported any recent attempts. In response, the government representative confirmed that the operation had indeed taken place, but did not provide any additional details. It is believed that the operation occurred in the first half of March.

This development may correspond to previously published information about the disruption of an attack on the Paris Arc de Triomphe. The attack, which was being planned by a 62-year-old Egyptian resident, was scheduled for March 5th.

These recent developments highlight the ongoing efforts of authorities in France and their success in preventing terrorist attacks. The apprehension of the suspect involved in the Notre-Dame Cathedral attack is a significant step towards ensuring the safety of the country and its iconic landmarks.
