The director of President Robert Kocharyan’s office, Bagrat Mikoyan, has clarified the news that Robert Kocharyan has been abroad for more than two months and is not in Armenia.

He responded to questions from Yerevan.Today and explained that in December, the court had granted President Kocharyan permission to leave the country for medical treatment. However, the court denied the request for treatment, so the president agreed to shorten his stay abroad for the purpose of medical care. His lawyer has provided further explanation.
