“Prime Minister and Government Officials Attend International Autism Awareness Event, Highlighting Commitment to Inclusive Education and Support”

The “Autism” National Foundation recently hosted an international period of autism awareness in Yerevan, Armenia. Notable attendees included the Prime Minister of Armenia, Janna Andreasyan, Deputy Prime Minister Anna Hakobyan, and Deputy Minister of the Interior, Araxia Suvajian. The event took place at the “My Way” center, which offers various services for 200 children with autism, such as psychological, educational, social, and scientific rehabilitation. The activities at the event included musical performances and the sale of crafts made by the children. The proceeds from these sales were used to support the children’s development and provide them with necessary psychological and rehabilitation services.

During the event, the significance of inclusive education and continuous support for individuals with autism at all levels of education was emphasized. This inclusive approach is seen as crucial for their overall development. Additionally, the event emphasized the importance of the government’s commitment to ensuring that the voices of individuals with autism are heard and their potential is realized.
