“April Fools’ Day Prank Goes Wrong: Fireworks Cause Damage to Car in Yerevan”

On April 1, fireworks were launched in Yerevan, as reported by shamshyan.com. The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia received information that fireworks were set off in the courtyard of the 1st building of the Yerevan municipality on Baghramyan Street at around 17:30. Witnesses and residents in the area stated that two fireworks exploded, causing damage to a nearby Opel car. Preliminary information suggests that the car was damaged as a result of the fireworks explosion. As a result of this incident, traffic on Baghramyan Street was temporarily halted. At the scene, several residents claimed to have witnessed a dispute between the drivers of the two cars, with one intentionally launching the fireworks towards the other car, resulting in damage. The fireworks also affected other cars parked nearby, causing panic and creating an emergency situation. The Rescue Service of Shengavit has initiated a criminal investigation into the incident.
