“Aram Manukyan of the BHK Party warns of continued unrest: “No Return for Evacuated Territories””

The unrest in Tavush, where four districts were evacuated without receiving anything in return, shows no signs of stopping. Aram Manukyan, the chairman of the BHK Party, pointed out in an interview with NEWS.am that fighting will not bring happiness. He criticized the government officials for not understanding the frustration of the people and the importance of preserving the existence of Karabakh. Manukyan also questioned the opposition’s claim that recognition of the Republic of Azerbaijan would be the solution, highlighting the ongoing discussions within the Minsk Group. He emphasized that solving the problem of the villages and evacuating the territories requires clear strategies on paper. Manukyan further criticized Prime Minister Pashinyan, stating that his actions are legitimizing the actions of the Aliyev administration and endangering the people. When asked if there is a possibility of improving the situation without military operations, Manukyan expressed his belief that it is almost impossible and called for internal unification.
