The recent resignation and disqualification of Narék Samsunyan and Vazgen Sagatelian, as highlighted by Vahé Hovhannisyan, a member of the “Alternative Projects” group, seems to be an attempt to erode public trust. Hovhannisyan emphasizes that resorting to terrorism as a means of struggle is unacceptable and should never be evaluated based on the number of victims or casualties. He points out that the violent incidents involving Samsunyan and Sagatelian during a peaceful gathering in Moscow, followed by additional acts of violence, can be characterized as acts of terrorism rooted in a fascist ideology. The goal of such terrorism is to instill fear in the general population, thereby highlighting the importance for the political world to stand united against this menace.
