During their telephone conversation, Akar expressed his gratitude to Dendias for the warm condolences and support received after the tragic incident involving the downed Turkish F-16 fighter jet. Both ministers condemned acts of terrorism and Dendias offered his condolences for the casualties and damage caused by the missile strike.
