“Turkey and Russia’s Lack of Contact in Karabakh Raises Concerns, says Turkish Foreign Minister”

Turkish Foreign Minister Mustafa Aydın recently discussed the relationship between Turkey, Russia, and Libya in the context of the conflict in Karabakh. Aydın stated that unlike Libya, Turkey and Russia have not had direct contact with each other in Karabakh. He highlighted that Azerbaijan had utilized Turkish military and drones against Russian defense systems during the second Karabakh war. Following the war, Russia strengthened its military presence in all three countries of the South Caucasus for the first time since the restoration of peace. This has significant implications for the Armenian cause, as Turkey has established a military presence in Azerbaijan for the first time in 100 years.
