Russian Security Council Secretary, former President Dmitri Medvedev, congratulated Vladimir Putin on his victory as the head of the “Edinaia Rossiia” party’s coordination council for security. In his Telegram channel, Medvedev wrote, “Congratulations to V.V. Putin on his victory in the elections of the president of Russia.”

The Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation has processed 30.04% of signatures, and Vladimir Putin has received an overwhelming 87.68% of the votes, according to initial results.
