“Tragedy Strikes in Kotayk Province: Elderly Resident Found Dead in Neighborhood near Yeghvard”
On March 13, a tragic incident took place in the Kotayk province. The Nairi Department of Emergency Situations of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia received an announcement around 16:00 that the emergency response team of doctors had been dispatched to a neighborhood near the city of Yeghvard. They were called to attend to the body of a deceased person. The news was reported by Shamshyan.com.
Preliminary information suggests that the deceased was identified as 76-year-old Hamlet G., a resident of Yerevan, who was in a life-threatening condition.
Initial reports indicate that the individual was not killed by the weed itself, but rather due to intoxication.
