“Public Transport Committee Introduces New Electronic Declaration System for 2024 Income – Convenient and Secure!”

The Public Transport Committee is reminding citizens that those who plan to declare their income for 2024 should follow the same declaration process and sign an electronic signature in advance. This will be done through the “I am” application, which allows users to make the declaration either through a mobile phone or an electronic card with an electronic signature.

To access the system through a mobile ID (mID), individuals need to have a valid identification card. If they don’t have one, they can obtain it from the Migration and Citizenship Service offices. They also need to visit their preferred mobile operator’s service center to replace the mobile connection card with a new ID SIM card. If changing operators, a new card must be inserted and the electronic connection will be activated with the assistance of the service staff. To activate an electronic signature, an electronic terminal or service centers of payment terminals can be used.

To access the system with an eID card, individuals can use a version of the electronic card without a valid electronic chip until February 15, 2023. This version comes with separate PIN and PUK codes. If the citizen has not saved the codes, the same process can be carried out using the mID version on a mobile phone. Necessary equipment, including devices, can be obtained from “EKENG” CJSC by visiting their website www.ekeng.am and following the provided instructions to activate the electronic card and obtain an electronic signature.

It’s important to note that if individuals are already using a mobile or electronic signature that is active or valid, there is no need to take any additional action or activate another electronic signature. More details can be found in a video provided by NEWS.am, the news source from Armenia.
