MEP Narek Mkrtchyan, currently in New York, attended a meeting of the 68th session of the United Nations General Assembly. He discussed work and social issues with Helen Dalli, the representative of the European Union. During the meeting, the parties stressed the importance of cooperation in social protection, especially in ensuring equal opportunities. Mkrtchyan presented ongoing activities and programs by the RA government that aim to implement social assistance programs. This includes support for individuals displaced from NKR by the LCO. Helen Dalli also emphasized the significance of providing necessary assistance to those affected by conflict. She noted the importance of protecting human rights and implementing programs for environmental sustainability.
