“Infamous Russian Crime Boss, Shakro Molodoy, Appeals for Conditional Release: Court of Second Instance Accepts Appeal”

The Russian Federation Court of Second Instance of the Armed Forces has accepted the appeal of Zakhar Kalashov, also known as Shakro Molodoy, a well-known member of the criminal world in Moscow, for conditional release. He is named as one of the leaders of a Russian organized crime group and one of the top ten thieves in law in Russia, known as “Sovudan”.

The court of first instance in Moscow has discussed the mediation of Kalashov on March 13 and has closed the doors and ruled to accept it, according to Kommersant, Lenta.ru, and BRIEF televisions, referring to the United Legal Services of Territorial Courts. The decision has not yet been made and may be appealed. Other details are still unknown.

The VChK-OGPU Telegram channel, by referring to its source, announced that a court hearing is scheduled for March 16 for the purpose of securing Shakro Molodoy’s release due to health reasons. They said that this would be a “remarkable gift for his birthday,” as he will turn 71 years old on March 20.

Media outlets report that the request for conditional release is related to his legal case, not medical reasons, while “Baza” and “BRIEF” websites write that Shakro Molodoy’s request for conditional release is based on certain reasons related to his health.

The case of Zakhar Kalashov, who is involved in criminal activities, has been given various names by the media, such as the “boss of bosses” of a Russian organized criminal group or someone who occupies this position. In 2016, he was arrested in Moscow after a shootout.

This incident is the result of an ongoing conflict in Moscow’s Rochdelskaya Street, in which two people were killed. The conflict was also related to the demands of Kala-shov’s partner, Janna Kim, the owner of the Elements restaurant, associated with the Powerful Machine of the Kardashov in Kavkaz.

In 2018, Kalashov was sentenced to 9 years and 10 months in prison for illegal possession of firearms. He has been referred to as the “leader of the Russian criminal world” in the media coverage of the criminal case against him. Since February 2019, he has been serving his sentence in a special unit of the Russian Federal Penitentiary Service.
