“Former Minister Arman Eghiazaryan Proposes Mandatory Schooling From Age Six; Calls for Thematic Seminars as Alternative”

Former Minister of Justice, Arman Eghiazaryan, recently expressed his plans to establish a compulsory education system for children starting from the age of six. In a post on his Facebook page, Eghiazaryan explained that he believes opening a school for these young learners is the best approach. The Ministry of Education also supports this idea, as it states that children who are currently six years old and not attending school will be able to join the first grade in the middle of their second year. However, Eghiazaryan believes that simply admitting these children to school is not enough. He suggests organizing thematic seminars as an alternative method to quickly educate and propel everyone forward. This proposed sequential reform in the field of education aims to ensure that all children receive a proper education.
