On March 6, a meeting was held at the Vardenis community center to discuss the impact of Azerbaijan’s military operations in the Nagorno-Karabakh region in September 2023. The meeting was attended by Karen Sargsyan, the prefect of Gegharkunik province, as well as other local officials and community leaders. Sargsyan welcomed the residents of Artsakh and assured them that there was no time limit for the meeting, allowing everyone to express their concerns and receive clear answers. The participants raised issues regarding the needs of the affected population, such as housing, food distribution, documentation, and psychological support programs. Sargsyan expressed gratitude to the residents and emphasized the government’s commitment to resolving these problems and ensuring their welfare and security.
