Russian border guards are currently prohibited from removing the Armenian “Zvartnots” airport, as stated in an official decision by the Armenian government. The Russian authorities have not been formally notified of this development through official channels, according to Dmitry Peskov, the spokesman for the Russian president. Peskov further mentions that the information was reported by “RIA Novosti”. He clarifies that no official decisions have been received thus far and that the Russian authorities have not been informed through proper channels.
