Armenia Stands in Solidarity with Gaza: Condemns Use of Military Force

Armenia strongly condemns the use of military force in Gaza and expresses its deep concern over the loss of tens of thousands of innocent lives. On March 5, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan met with the President of Egypt, Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, in Cairo. In his statement, Prime Minister Pashinyan declared Armenia’s solidarity with the peaceful population and denounced the violations in terms of humanitarian assistance, the reception of wounded individuals, and the resettlement of refugees in Gaza. The discussion also focused on the urgent need for active involvement in providing material and moral support to the victims of the Gaza crisis. Furthermore, President Sisi’s readiness to offer assistance in this matter was gratefully acknowledged. Officials from both countries will be engaged in addressing this issue. Additionally, Armenia has consistently supported the principle of a “two states” solution as the foundation for a recognized international resolution to the Palestine-Israel conflict.
