Turkish businessman Hakan Fidan recently announced that in Antalya, he had a meeting with the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Sefer Aksu, to discuss the progress in the reconciliation process between Armenia and Azerbaijan. The meeting, which took place on Friday, also involved representatives from the Russian Defense Ministry and Turkish businessmen.

During a press conference in Antalya, Fidan stated that apart from discussing the cooperation between the two countries, they also addressed various regional issues. Specifically, they had the opportunity to discuss the peace process in the Caucasus between Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as different approaches taken to ensure the safety of the Black Sea. Fidan also highlighted the importance of discussing the situation in Syria, although acknowledging that more time would be needed to delve into the topic.
