“Prime Minister Pashinyan Calls for Increased Citizen Participation in Company Administration”

During a government meeting on February 29, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan highlighted the importance of involving employees in decision-making processes within companies. He specifically mentioned that “MTS Armenia” CJSC contributes 20% of its profits to the Republic of Armenia. Pashinyan emphasized that it is crucial for companies to have effective systems in place to ensure employee participation, as no well-known company can function without it. The government’s acceptance of this commitment from other companies not only shows appreciation but also strengthens the political system of participatory management, promoting transparency. Pashinyan also stressed the need to gradually transition towards participatory management in all companies, ensuring communication security and safeguarding citizens’ personal data and privacy. Ultimately, the government must take responsibility for these matters and possess the necessary tools to do so. This aligns with the decentralization of decision-making within companies.”
