On January 26th at 10:45, the Syunik regional rescue service center received an alarm regarding a group of travelers who were stuck on the Tatev-Ltsen highway due to snowy and icy conditions. The RA MES (Ministry of Emergency Situations) has informed NEWS.am that this incident took place one kilometer away from the Aghvani checkpoint of the regional rescue service.

The rescuers swiftly took action and successfully utilized towing vehicles to rescue a total of 17 passengers trapped in the treacherous weather conditions.

Marking another testament to their dedication and expertise, the Syunik regional rescue service center performed a commendable job in responding to this emergency situation. Their promptness and ability to coordinate their efforts in such challenging conditions ensured the safety and timely rescue of all affected individuals.
