The Ministry of Economy in the Republic has launched the process of accounting for agricultural animals. The initiative has been organized by regional administrations, communities, and representatives from the “Center for Livestock Services” of the non-commercial organization under the Ministry of Agriculture. The Ministry encourages a responsible approach to the accounting process, stressing the importance of accurately reporting the number of existing animals. For unregistered large livestock animals, individuals are advised to contact the accountant-tax specialist or call the “Center for Livestock Services” at 012-595-939. Small livestock animals should be promptly registered by community representatives in the “Ani Pass” electronic information system.

It is important to note that the accounting and inventory process for livestock does not impose any financial burden on rural residents or farmers. In fact, the Ministry is urging individuals to not only show support but also assist the groups involved in implementing the accounting process. This initiative aims to better understand and manage the agricultural animal population in Armenia.
