On January 19th, at 9:00 am, the driver of a Mercedes car in the village of Azatavan, in the Ararat region of Armenia, deliberately struck a 4-year-old girl who was bedridden due to her physical disabilities and had recently been transported to the hospital. The Republic of Armenia Police reported this shocking incident.

Later, at 10:40 am, the mother of the girl arrived at the hospital, also with injuries, and claimed that she had sustained them during the same incident. It is deeply disturbing to learn that the mother was also harmed in this tragic event.

The authorities have begun an investigation into this appalling incident, propelled by a sense of urgency to bring those responsible to justice.
