“President of Ukraine Highlights Ongoing Support in Meeting with NATO Secretary-General in Bratislava”

Vladimir Zelensky, the President of Ukraine, recently met with Jens Stoltenberg, the Secretary-General of NATO, in Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia. The President of Ukraine shared on his Facebook microblog that he informed the Secretary-General about the ongoing support that Ukraine is receiving. He emphasized the importance of continued support for Ukraine’s defense and discussed the recent provocations by Russian-backed militants. During their conversation, they also talked about other security issues. President Zelensky highlighted the significance of the Declaration on Security Cooperation between Great Britain and Ukraine, based on the G7 Vilnius Summit, and informed the Secretary-General about the ongoing work with partners. They exchanged documents for the signature of similar agreements, which will be valid until Ukraine joins NATO. They also discussed the preparations for the NATO Summit in Warsaw and the potential impact of Russia’s decisions on their cooperation with the Alliance.
