“NSS Heroes Save a Life: Dramatic Rescue Prevents Suicide Attempt on Keivanyan Bridge”

On January 13th, at 19:45, the National Crisis Management Center was alerted to a potential suicide attempt by a resident of Yerevan, who was reportedly planning to jump from the Keivanyan Bridge. In response to the situation, the National Security Service (NSS) rescue service was immediately notified. The NSS crisis management department, along with the psychological support department and an on-duty psychologist, swiftly arrived at the scene.

Thanks to the prompt action of the rescuers, the suicide attempt was successfully prevented. The individual involved has been safely transferred to the Mashtots Division of Mental Health for further assistance and evaluation.
