In 2024, the Russian Armed Forces’ Strategic Missile Troops (RHSV) will conduct joint exercises with the Missile Defense Forces (MDF) of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), as announced by the Russian Ministry of Defense. Over the past five years, the missile forces of the Russian Armed Forces have already carried out more than 20 exercises with the MDF’s ballistic missile defense systems, as well as in the areas of long-range missile system testing and management of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. The spokesperson for the Russian Ministry of Defense stated that this year, the missile forces will once again engage in joint exercises with the MDF’s ballistic missile defense systems.

This collaboration between the Russian Armed Forces and the MDF of the CSTO demonstrates their commitment to enhancing their defense capabilities and ensuring security in the region.
