“Faction Leader Calls for New Elections in Vanadzor Community, Shakes Up City’s Leadership”

The head of the “Fatherland” faction in the Vanadzor community, Vahe Dojoyan, recently took to Facebook to announce that he has called for discussions among all faction leaders to initiate new elections in the community. In addition, he mentioned that Arsen Babayan, a member of the “Fatherland” alliance and former regional governor of Lori province, began his term on January 1st. It is worth noting that Nikol Pashinyan, the former regional governor, voluntarily resigned and was not dismissed due to the upcoming elections. Dojoyan’s announcement has clearly disrupted the city’s leadership plans, and we can expect to see new developments in the near future.

Let us not forget that on January 3rd, Nikol Pashinyan, the head of the Municipal Committee, visited Lori province alongside Aram Ghulayan, the chief of the city administration, to discuss ongoing programs and address various issues. However, today, both Aram Ghulayan and Aram Khachatryan, the Lori provincial governor, have been removed from their positions as per a government decision.
