“Dollar Soars in Armenian Markets: Exchange Rate Hits 405.42 Drams, Central Bank Reports”

The exchange rate of the US dollar today, January 4, is 405.42 drams, increasing by 0.14 drams compared to the previous day, according to the official website of the Central Bank. Similarly, the Euro exchange rate stands at 444.14 drams, showing an increase of 1.29 drams, while the British pound exchange rate is at 515.09 drams, with an increase of 3.42 drams. Moreover, the Russian ruble exchange rate is 4.44 drams, witnessing a slight increase of 0.01 drams.

When it comes to Armenian banks, they are currently offering the dollar at 401-403 drams for purchases and 407.50-409 drams for sales. Meanwhile, European banks are buying the dollar at 434-439 drams and selling it at 446.50-454 drams. Russian banks, on the other hand, have the dollar available for purchase at 4.10-4.37 drams and for sale at 4.47-470 drams.

Moving on to the exchange points, we have the following rates: the dollar is being bought at 404 drams and sold at 409 drams. In terms of the euro, it is being bought at 440-442 drams and sold at 449 drams. Finally, the ruble is bought at 4.30 drams and sold at 4.45 drams.
