“EU Head Joseph Borel Conveys Condolences and Stands in Solidarity with Iran After Devastating Terrorist Attacks in Kerma”

EM head Joseph Borel recently engaged in a telephone conversation with Iran’s Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade, Hussein Amir Abdollahian, where they addressed the recent terrorist attacks in Kerma, as reported by Mehr. Borel took the opportunity to extend his condolences to the families affected by the tragic incident, as well as showing solidarity with the injured individuals and the Iranian government and people.

During their discussion, the parties explored various aspects of international cooperation in combating terrorism, underscoring the need for a united front against such acts of violence. Echoing these sentiments, the head of the European Council also expressed condemnation for the attacks in Kerma, affirming the European Union’s stance on terrorism.

“I strongly condemn the attack that transpired today in Kerma, Iran. The Iranian people have my unwavering support. This atrocious act of terror has resulted in the loss of a considerable number of innocent lives and caused injury to civilians in the region,” stated the head of the European Council.
