Tragic Car Accident in Yerevan: Four Children Injured as Peugeot and Gazel Truck Collide

On December 29, a car accident occurred in Yerevan, specifically on Monte Melkonyan Street near “Yerevan Park.” According to Shamshyan.com, a Peugeot car and a Gazel truck collided at approximately 14:30.

The collision resulted in four injured individuals, all of whom were children. They were immediately transported to the “Holy Mother” hospital for medical treatment. Yerevan’s 1-03 ambulance service quickly dispatched a team of doctors to provide assistance.

As a consequence of the accident, the Gazel truck veered off the road, traversed the sidewalk, and ultimately crashed into a concrete barrier, overturning multiple times.

Upon preliminary investigation at the crash site, it was determined that there was a mechanical failure in the vehicles involved. The Yerevan traffic police department is currently conducting a thorough investigation to ascertain the identities of the drivers and passengers.

Following the accident, the vehicles will be relocated to the Yerevan City Impound, which serves as a protective facility for the city’s landfills.
