“Robots at Tesla’s Giga Factory in Austin Cause Injury to Worker in Shocking Accident, Reports Daily Mail”

According to a report by the Daily Mail, robots at Tesla’s Giga factory in Austin have been involved in an incident resulting in injuries. Witnesses reported seeing two drones filming when a car, designed for dismantling and moving parts of new battery packs, struck a worker’s face and arm.

The incident, referred to as an “open fist,” was documented in a report on the 2021 assembly line accident. This report focused on the working conditions of Tesla’s bodyguards in Travis County and was presented by DailyMail.com.

Although Tesla had not previously reported any accidents related to robots in the Tech Assembly 2021 or 2022, videos showing automated robots engaging in risky movements have raised concerns in recent years.

The report on the accident, which Tesla is required to submit to the authorities to protect its economic interests in Texas, suggests that the robot assembly may not require extensive training days. However, an attorney representing Tesla Giga’s contract workers informed the Daily Mail that incidents like these have led to a decrease in reported injuries at the factory.
