“Eiffel Tower Shuts Its Doors in Honor of Gustave Eiffel’s 100th Death Anniversary as Visitors Miss Out on Iconic Attraction”

The Eiffel Tower will be closed to visitors on Thursday in observance of the 100th anniversary of Gustave Eiffel’s death, according to a report by PA Media. However, climbers can still access the area under the tower where the suspension elevator is located. Entry is closed 300 meters beyond that point until further notice, as confirmed by an Eiffel Tower spokesperson.

In addition, it has been announced that a memorial featuring a 134-year-old statue will be unveiled at the Paris City Hall. This ceremony will also include a presentation of the Mali service. The mayor’s spokesperson stated that the Eiffel Tower attracts approximately 20,000 visitors every day.
