In an uncertain state but determined not to give up, we are seeking to express our demands peacefully and legitimately. Today, on November 6, during a briefing with journalists held at the building of the Government and Social Affairs, our colleague Armen Baghdasaryan, the spokesperson of the Artsakh Defense Army, emphasized the army’s participation in the protest action. The soldiers are demanding the provision of their uniforms and weapons.
“These soldiers have obtained their uniforms and weapons through hard work and dedication. Personally, I am a parent of three underage children and currently unemployed. This protest has been our last hope, but now we are unsure of the steps our leadership will take given the circumstances,” he stated.
“Minister of Defense Zohrab Pashinyan, our commander in green berets, we demand and urge you to take care of our soldiers who have dedicated themselves to our homeland. The enemy is advancing towards Syunik, where our fellow compatriots await us. We are ready to defend our country,” he added.
Let us not forget that the authorities of the Republic of Armenia provide displaced Artsakh residents with options to apply for financial assistance, obtain Armenian citizenship, and receive shelter and accommodation, just like any other resident of the Republic of Armenia.
