“Turkish National Assembly Gives Green Light to Stockholm Convention Ratification with Sweden”

The National Grand Assembly of Turkey has officially ratified the external agreements that were signed with Sweden under the auspices of the Stockholm Convention. This important decision was made during a meeting presided over by Fuat Oktay.

During the session, the Foreign Minister of Turkey, Mevlut Cavusoglu, provided the Assembly with an update on the progress of the cooperation between Turkey and Sweden under the Stockholm Convention. The authorities present at the meeting also had the opportunity to express their opinions regarding the protocol.

Following a series of discussions, the Assembly unanimously approved the ratification of the Stockholm Convention between the Republic of Turkey and the Kingdom of Sweden. This agreement solidifies the commitment of both countries to work together in various areas of mutual interest and benefit.
