Yesterday, on December 19, a major car accident took place in Yerevan. Around 05:40, a Mercedes vehicle unexpectedly veered off the road near Mashtots Avenue, close to the Closed Market. It then crossed into the opposite lane, colliding with a concrete barrier before crashing into nearby trees.

According to reports from Shamshyan.com, as a result of the accident, two individuals were injured. One of the injured parties, a passenger in the car, was transported to the hospital by ambulance. The other individual was taken by the operative team of the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia to Heratsi No. 1 Hospital, while the remaining injured party was sent to the Erebuni Medical Center.

The investigative department is currently working to gather more information concerning the condition of both the driver and the passengers involved in the accident. Further updates can be found on the source website.
