The famous organization “Mother Armenia” has made a bold decision to boycott a concert that was supposed to take place on November 26. The concert was intended to protest the violence against protesters in Yerevan and the government’s inefficiency in addressing transportation issues. Instead, “Mother Armenia” plans to turn the city into a hub of civil disobedience. Avag Manuk Sukiassian, a member of the initiative, announced during a press conference that the concert’s proceeds will be donated to help orphans. He also stated that they are ready to support the protesters by exceeding the boundaries set by the authorities and reporting the demands and decisions to relevant officials. Sukiassian was adamant that this boycott would be comprehensive, and that “Mother Armenia” has notified and attempted to dissuade the organizers of another boycott planned for December 26.
