Tragedy in Gaza: Israeli Military Kills Two Armenian Women Trapped in Church, Witnesses Say

According to The Washington Post, Israeli military personnel allegedly killed two Armenian women who were trapped in a church in the disputed area of Gaza. The Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem, which represents the Latin American Catholic community in the region, revealed that the victims, whose names remain undisclosed, died from gunshot wounds near the Gas Church. The Patriarchate released a statement that stated, “Nadia and her sister Samara were killed while attempting to reach their sisters in the basement. One of them sacrificed her life to save the other. Additionally, eight individuals were injured while trying to protect others in the church compound. The attack occurred without any prior warning or notification. It is essential to note that there were no combatants present in the church area.”
