The renovation work of the dining hall at Kobayr Monastery started in 2015 and is now nearing completion, according to the Government’s report. The project has received a generous allocation of over 150 million drams for its completion. This restoration is part of a larger initiative that started in 2006, focusing on the restoration of the monastery’s subsidiary buildings. The main church, adorned with medieval frescoes, is currently being carefully preserved as part of this ongoing effort. To ensure their protection, temporary measures have been implemented.
