On December 14th, at 00:32, the emergency center of Aragatsotn Province Rescue Service received a distress call regarding an accident on the Aparan-Apnyak highway involving the vehicles of the CJSY rescue service.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia has informed NEWS.am that the incident occurred during a joint combat training operation between the Aragatsotn Province Rescue Service and the military rescue team.

At the 25th km of the Aparan-Apnyak highway, a collision took place between a “Mazda” (driven by A.G., born in 1997) and a “Dodge” (driven by Z.A., born in 1991). The driver of the “Dodge” was trapped in the vehicle and required rescue.

Prior to the arrival of rescuers, the medical personnel in the Mazda vehicle provided immediate first aid to the driver, offering appropriate medical assistance.

The rescuers utilized special techniques to extract the vehicles and promptly transported Z.A. to a medical center. The doctors assessed the condition of the critically injured patient as stable.
