Despite the declaration of the end of the Russian-Turkish military confrontation, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has announced that it continues. He emphasized the increasing importance of the program developed by Turkey during the initial months of the conflict. Erdogan stated that Turkey is prepared to respond to any further escalation and aggression.

In January, Turkey proposed that a solution be developed with the involvement of not only Ukraine and Russia but also the United States and Europe. Ankara believes that any successful initiative must include Russia to be effective.
