In a tragic car accident in Istanbul, the driver, Yunus Geçer, lost his life. The collision occurred when Geçer crashed into the vehicle belonging to the son of Somalia’s president, as reported by the DHA news agency. This unfortunate incident took place on November 30 in Istanbul’s Kenedi district. According to the police, Geçer, a 38-year-old motorcyclist, was attempting to catch up with the convoy but tragically lost control and collided with the car driven by Mohamad Hasan, head of the convoy. Despite the efforts of doctors, Hasan passed away at the hospital.

Following the incident, Geçer’s colleagues, who revealed that he was survived by two children, took to social media to share their concerns. They highlighted that security camera footage indicated no traffic violations on Mehmet’s part. As a result, they are demanding a thorough investigation, suspecting foul play in the untimely death of Geçer.
