This has caused public outrage due to the violent actions of the operative body carrying out their duties under the cover of this oppressive regime. The practice of oppressive regimes is common in many countries, but the situation in Alaverdi has raised concerns.

In the latest turn of events, an elected and highly efficient community official was dismissed solely because he was not affiliated with the ruling party and did not serve their interests. This decision has raised questions about the fairness of the process. To exacerbate concerns further, a former RA Police officer, who has been implicated in several criminal activities according to previously presented evidence, was appointed to the position.
