“Armenia’s Prime Minister Sends Representative to ICC, Covers Expenses for UN Activities in the US”

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s representative, Eghishe Kirakosyan, is currently attending the International Criminal Court (ICC) in the United States. He is participating in a discussion titled “The Universality of the International Criminal Court: On the importance of ratifying the Rome Statute and the Agreement on the Privileges and Immunities of the ICC”. The event is scheduled to take place on December 7-8, 2023.

The Government of the Republic of Armenia has made the decision to cover all expenses related to Kirakosyan’s participation in the United Nations (UN) activities in the United States. This includes official accommodation expenses, which will be reimbursed based on supporting documents. The coverage of these expenses is being provided by the Prime Minister’s Office.

Upon Kirakosyan’s return from the ICC, he will present financial reports for the three working days spent at the event. These reports will include the expected calculations. They will be submitted to the office of the Prime Minister’s staff and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia.
